The Australian Space Agency announced a contest to name the country’s astronaut.

This is considered to be the first lunar rover of this country, which is supposed to land on the surface of the moon if it is carefully planned and successful.
According to the report of this space agency, Australia’s robotic rover will probably be sent to the moon along with NASA’s Artemis mission and launched in 2026. This space agency announced that in this mission, the lunar rover is going to collect lunar soil and test it for further experiments, as well as extracting oxygen from the sample.
So far, no name has been chosen for the Australian astronaut, and now the space agency is working on the process of choosing its name. According to the agency, a contest has been started to name this robot and all residents of this country can participate in the naming process. Australian residents can submit their desired name to this space agency until October 20. This agency also chooses four arbitrarily among the submitted names and finally one is selected.
