Recent studies by researchers show that women over 60 years old can live longer if their weight is balanced.
According to Tekna technology and technology news service, researchers at the University of California have conducted a study on women over 60 years old. They say that these women can live 95 to 100 years if they keep their weight constant.
According to this study, elderly women who maintain a balanced weight will live 1.2 to 2 times longer than women who have lost weight.
According to researchers, there is a direct relationship with weight changes and increased lifespan. About 54,437 women were examined in this research. During this research, 30,647 women or about 56% of them lived more than 90 years old. But women who had lost about 5% of their weight had a shorter lifespan compared to women with a constant weight.
Aladdin Shadiab, one of the main researchers of the study and the author of the article, says: Many women of old age in the United States are overweight and have a body mass index of 25 to 35. A recent study revealed that one of the factors in the longevity of older women is having a constant weight. People who lose weight without any diet can be one of the warning signs of the disease or indicate a decrease in their life.
