NASA plans to send three probes to the moon without the need to control the probes from Earth to prepare them for the mission.
According to Tekna technology and technology news service, NASA probes are supposed to coordinate with each other and conduct an experiment with the aim of group work among the probes. Also, in this experiment, the technologies used in them will also be examined. The desired technology called CADRE somehow establishes the cooperation of explorers and minimizes human intervention. These probes have made measurements during cooperation with each other and thus the efficiency of the missions also increases.
NASA’s three probes equipped with CADRE technology are supposed to be sent to the moon during the CLPS mission. The project in question is also considered as a cargo shipping project and a kind of commercial project. The size of the probes will be the size of a suitcase and their movement will be towards the areas where there is the most sunlight. When their solar panels are charged, the desired activities and experiments will begin.
It is supposed to publish the results of this mission. If this project is successful and the efficiency of this mission is potentially increased, this method will probably be used in future missions as well.
