In the meantime, knowledge-based companies, as drivers of the future economy, need special, targeted and operational attention.
He added: despite the country’s scientific capacities and technologically Notably, there is still a significant gap between the existing scientific power and Iran’s share in the world markets; A gap that needs to be addressed with careful policy and effective action.
The president of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce emphasized that the products of knowledge-based companies should not remain at the level of “laboratory samples” and stated: The expectation of public opinion and economic activists is that the achievements of universities and research and development centers, with a serious will, will become commercial products and part of the country’s export portfolio. Comparing the current situation of Iran with the countries of the region, the necessity of this development becomes more obvious.
Referring to the effective role of the support of managers and influential figures in the government body, Hassanzadeh said: the presence and practical support of these people can play a decisive role in removing obstacles and facilitating processes. In this framework, the Chamber of Commerce should take a more active and progressive role by using its wide capacities.
He also suggested to ensure the continuity, transparency and effectiveness of the follow-ups: an operational mechanism should be established through the introduction of two specific representatives from the economic activists for continuous communication with the responsible institutions and facilitating the resolution of ambiguities; An action that can play a vital role in fulfilling our national mission towards the Iranian nation.
Hasanzadeh added: The main demand of the community of economic activists is to speed up the formation of the “Export Federation of knowledge-based products”; A mechanism that can provide the necessary coordination for the coherent and competitive presence of Iran’s knowledge-based products in international markets. In this regard, economic activists have declared their full readiness to enter new investments, simultaneously with the implementation of the government’s support policies.
The head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture noted: The only practical solution to transform the scientific capacities of the country into economic prosperity and export-oriented development is a coherent, expert and aligned cooperation between the government, the private sector and the academic community. Decisive support for this approach will meet the rightful expectations of the future generation.
