According to Tekna technology and technology news service, James Hansen, a NASA climate science scientist who had previously succeeded in predicting global warming, now announced that the earth has reached a new climate boundary.

In 1988, Hansen announced global warming as a controversial revelation in the US Senate. Now, in his statement, he has predicted a new climate situation in collaboration with two other scientists. According to them, the earth’s temperature will reach the highest level compared to the past temperatures, and as a result, phenomena such as severe storms, heat waves and droughts will occur.

According to him, this warning was given since industrialization. At that time, the announcement of industrialization will increase the earth’s temperature by 1.2 degrees Celsius. As a result of this increase in temperature, the air becomes 20% hotter in summer. Currently, this increase in temperature can be seen in the northern hemisphere and its surrounding areas. As a former NASA climate scientist, Hansen warned lawmakers about global warming.

Regarding the reaction of the people to this crisis, he said: until the taste of these environmental phenomena is tasted, the reality will not be understood. We are now in the hottest year on record. The unprecedented heat wave created in the world has increased the sense of desperation.
