According to IsnaBy the decree of the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Engineer Vajiyullah Jafari was appointed as the head of the country’s geological and mineral exploration organization, while maintaining the position of deputy minister of mines and mineral industries of the Ministry of Peace.
Jafari, who has a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, in addition to numerous executive records in the mining sector and the founder of the comprehensive program of the mining sector, previously worked in responsibilities such as the CEO of the Iran Minerals Procurement and Production Company (IMPASCO), the chairman of the board of directors of the Iran Mines and Mining Industries Development and Modernization Organization (IMIDRO) and the management of the Mines and Metals Development Investment Company.
In the text of the issued order, while emphasizing his commitment, experience and valuable records, it is emphasized the need to follow the transformational policies and programs of the ministry and effective cooperation with the vice-chairs and specialized departments.
According to the public relations of the Organization of Geology and Mineral Exploration of the country, Minister Samet has expressed his hope in this order that the new supervisor, relying on God Almighty and using the guidelines of the Supreme Leader, will be successful in advancing the missions of the Organization of Geology and the development of the country’s explorations.
