Referring to the problems in international cooperation, Yazidi said: despite the high importance of international scientific interactions, unfortunately, in recent years, the connection of our universities with the world’s first-class scientific centers has become more limited. This issue is rooted in several factors; Part of it is due to international sanctions, which practically make the path of official cooperation and scientific exchange difficult, and the other part is due to the financial and operational limitations of universities.

In the continuation of his interview, referring to the most important challenge facing Iranian researchers, Dr. Izadi said: In my opinion, the biggest problem that Iranian researchers are currently facing is the lack of ability and teamwork culture. Maybe we haven’t been trained, or teamwork methods haven’t been effectively communicated to us. He added: Some universities have more facilities and others have more restrictions. If we can share capacities and infrastructure between universities and professors cooperate with each other, we can definitely achieve better research results and more scientific achievements.
