Finally, two international winners and two national winners were selected in two areas of reproductive medicine and stem cell and rear -blooded medicine. Also, due to the proximity of international referees, for the first time in both fields, two national researchers will also be honored.
The executive secretary of the Royan International Festival stated that this year, along with two main areas, biotechnology and technology, he added: “In this section, Professor Majid Ebrahimi Varkiani of Sydney University of Technology was introduced as an international winner. His research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence in reproductive medicine, especially in the field of male infertility, which has led to the creation of a knowledge -based company and a technological tool development and inter -continental clinical trial.
Afsharian said the first baby from the technology was recently born in the United Arab Emirates, which was released in LinkedIn last Thursday.
“This year’s winner is Dr. Heydari Heydari Khoi, who is working in Austria and in Professor Ribon’s laboratory (one of the winners of Dr. Kazemi’s Award),” said the executive secretary of the Royan Festival.
He explained about the research of this selection: His research is about fetal models. A model that enables fetal processes in laboratory conditions. The results of Dr. Heydari’s work are published in the journal Nature and have been introduced as one of the top seven technologies of the year alongside the James Web Telescope.
“In the course of arbitration, the research innovation will first be reviewed and if necessary, it will be sent to international arbitration.” Some studies are also honored in the national sector despite the high quality. This year in the Department of Biography and Production Technology, the national winner of Dr. Masoumeh Esmailvand; Faculty member is Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences. He is a clinical nectar in infertility at Motazedi Hospital in Kermanshah and has conducted his research on microrna in the fetal blastocyst fluid as a non -invasive indicator of the fetal chromosomal condition during his doctoral degree at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences.
He explained about the other national winner of this year’s festival: Dr. Hamed Daemi, a member of the Faculty of Cell Engineering and Tissue of Royan Research Institute, has been selected. The researcher has worked on natural polymers scaffolds for years, and his design at the festival is about sulfate -based scaffolding for soft tissue engineering.
Afsharian noted that this year, two other researchers in the field of stem cells and reconciliation medicine will be introduced as deserving of appreciation.
Thanks to the festival’s support agencies, including the academic jihad, the Vice President of Science and Technology and in particular the National Iranian Science Foundation, he said: One of the important news of this period is that Dr. Kazemi’s award will be officially held next year.
