NASA’s curiosity probe has captured images of coral and flowering rocks on Mars, which is estimated to be several billion years old, according to the .
The probe recorded a picture of a wind of about one inch on July 5 this year, which resembles a piece of coral reef.
NASA had previously announced that the probe had taken many photos of these rocks. The US Space Agency refers to when liquid water still existed on the planet, it transferred unresolved minerals to the gaps in the cliffs. After drying the liquid, the hardened minerals remain.
NASA’s statement said: This commonly seen process on the ground has created interesting shapes on Mars, including a flower -shaped rock.
The organization points out that the specific shapes seen on Mars today have been created after a few billion years of erosion due to sand spraying. A special rock called Paposo was discovered on July 6 this year, similar to a flower -like rock that was observed on the 5th.
According to NASA, the flower rock is thought to be created when the liquid containing minerals has passed through the ducts in the stone.
