According to Mehr Reporter, Dr. Ramin Heshmat, a professor of epidemiology of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and the scientific secretary of the seminar, pointed out the increasing importance of sarcopenia in the country’s health system: “Caropone as one of the most important diseases related to aging has a direct impact on the quality of life of the elderly, and increased risk independence.” Given the growing trend of population aging, timely identification and intervention in this disease is vital.
