According to the Vice President of Science, Technology and Economics, the National Foundation for Science in Iran, in the framework of the new guidelines and Granet adopted, published a call to grant research seats to full professors with prominent scientific and research records. The call is held every year, and in the first phase, the applicants have to upload their resume and summary to the Kyper system. The first phase, in the second phase, submit a detailed proposal and the result will be announced on two annual occasions.
The deadline for submitting documents for the first stage of the current call is set from June 1 to July 1.
In this call, researchers who are members of the country’s universities and research centers who have scientific authority at national and international levels, as well as at least one successful terminated project in the foundation with the approach of solving the country’s basic issues or theorizing in the fundamental areas.
Applicants need to be national and internationally reputable, a research strategic program with integral and purposeful projects, as well as a scientific streaming approach. It is possible to provide scientific reputation by providing valid documentation or recommendation of prominent professors.
According to the call, the submission of a seats, narrative resume, including the most important achievements of the past five years, five of the scientific prizes and honors, as well as uploading attached files, including the official forms of the Foundation, are the required documents to participate in the first phase.
According to this call, the financial support ceiling of each seat is 2 million USD for three years. The seats can also benefit from two postgraduate researchers and two doctoral students in their scientific team annually, and they will have the financial support of the foundation separately.
Applicants can apply for their request after logging into the Kyper system and selecting the “Research Seat” program.
