A 5 -year -old British child with an incredible intelligence that can now read a book was named as the youngest member of the world’s gifted club (Mensa).
According to RCO News Agency, Joseph Harris-Birtill, a two-year-old British child, can read a book at the age where some children are trying to get acquainted with alphabet.
He has now come to the Greek Morse and alphabet code and has also shown the periodic table of elements.
According to SA, Rose and David, Joseph’s parents, came to the British British Branch of the Mesa Club, understanding their exceptional abilities.
Mensa is a gifted international association with numerous national and regional groups around the world that collects high -intelligence people and, with organized programs, is trying to make better use of its members.
Mensa not only supports the Joseph family, but also welcomes the young boy’s joining his community and has officially introduced him to the youngest member of the oldest and largest gifted organization in the world with 5 years and 5 days.
Before Joseph, it was in the year that Isla Mcnabb from Kentucky America joined Mensa with 2 years and 2 days after being assessed with a 2 % intelligence.
Applicants to join the gifted club to qualify, either have to pass the intelligence test or provide sufficient evidence to convince the board of directors of Mensa, which is one of the most intelligent people in the world.
Joseph showed his competencies from the very beginning of childhood. His mother Rose told the Guinness World Records Association: “It was soon revealed that Joseph is an exceptional small creature. He first rolled out of the place at five weeks, made his first word at the age of seven, and read the first volume of the book loudly at twenty -one months. Then, in two years and three months, each time for 5 minutes loudly read the text of the book and could be number 2 in five different languages. He could also count in his native language as usual and backward.
However, most babies up to four months of age lack motor function to control their head and neck.
Language growth means that children tend to express their first recognizable word at about 6 months. Usually, until the child is about five or five years old, reading is not expected in any language.
While Joseph’s achievements are extraordinary, this does not mean that his life process is expected to be quiet and easy, as educational systems usually have better resources to support students who do not meet the set standards.
Rose and David contacted the Mensa Association for guidance, predicting the challenges of adapting their son’s educational and developmental needs.
Rose says: I searched for more support online and saw that “Mensa” offers resources and membership to very capable children.
“We hope that this success can give him a sense of pride at an early age,” he said. This is a very unusual feature and its validity belongs to his own.
Real genius children are rare. According to some estimates, one out of every 2 to 5 million people is born with such skills that emerge from a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
