May 9, on May 5, has been named the World Museum Day (International Museum Day) on May 9, according to the National Museum of Science and Technology of Iran. This international institution sets its global slogan each year in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, and the slogan of the year, “The Future of Museums in Rapid Change Societies,” reflects the concerns, opportunities and responsibilities of museums in today’s world.
On this day, museums are conducting numerous programs in line with the annual slogan of Ikum. The National Museum of Science and Technology of Iran also holds a two -day partnership workshop and will also serve its audience for free on Sunday.
