On the sidelines of the 16th International Economic Summit of Russia – Islamic World: Kazan Fourum in Kazan, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Iranian Mapping Organization and the Federal State Registration, Cadastre and Russian Mapping (Russian) Mapping (Russian)

The Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the exchange of mapping technologies, the development of spatial information infrastructure, and the implementation of geomatic joint projects.
