He added: “If we accept that promoting science is part of the public policy of science and not only look at education and culture, we should consider why part of our scientific community that play a decisive role in many social situations but does not have an effective presence in the structure of science and promotion.”

“In recent years, the presence of women has been really good, but we do not see it in the decision -making and promotional layers and policy structure,” said the Vice Presidential Technology Adviser.

“Women are always absent in the discussion of promoting science and policy -making discussions, and if they play a role, unfortunately, the executive role is not very effective,” she said.

Pointing to women’s life experience, he said: “The experience and communication role of women has shown that women can be natural and medium actors between the structure of society and science; But this role is unfortunately ignored.

“In our society, especially in the areas of health, the environment, optimal energy consumption and so on, there are things that women can play an important role,” she said.

According to him; The national programs we see are not statistically analyzed by the status of women and their role, or systematically evaluating the actual participation of women in scientific projects. For example, the Ministry of Science, the Foundation of Science, etc. all report separately.

“Lack of accurate data on the quality of women’s participation in promotional programs is another challenge, and without our data we cannot make optimal policy,” she said.

“One suggestion is to have a national plan to discuss women in our field of science,” she said. The program can be formed through a center or official network in collaboration with the Association in collaboration with the Science Foundation in Science and qualified universities.

She added: “In this program, the training and empowerment of scientific female propaganda should be created, designing a tool for assessing the actual participation of women in scientific programs and creating a network of scientific and community -based national and regional scale with a specific mission.”
