The new ceiling of the support of the National Science Foundation of Iran was announced

According to RCO News Agency, the National Science Foundation of Iran (Insf) significantly increased support funds for the year in order to support researchers and faculty members.

According to the new announcement of the National Foundation of Science, the ceiling for the support of the normal research project reached 2 million tomans, a postgraduate amount of 2 million tomans and a doctoral dissertation of 2 million tomans.

The ceiling of these funds for a variety of designs has been announced since the beginning of the year.

In the case of a master’s thesis on theoretical issues, the salaries are fully paid and the Grant’s fee is not paid.

In the case of doctoral dissertation plans, with theoretical issues, the salaries are fully paid and the cost of the Grant is not paid.

According to the scientific council resolution dated November 7, to support doctoral dissertations in seven areas of “Artificial Intelligence, Quantum, Cyber ​​Security, Renewable Energy, Microelectronics, Plasma and Cryogenic”

The number of support in year 2 is as follows:

*Student Rights: Up to 1 million Tomans (2 years)

*Grant Cost: Up to 1 million USD (2 years)

In the case of post -doctoral projects on theoretical issues, salaries are fully paid and the cost of the Grant is not paid.

Postfect projects are 2 % by the observer if the project’s progress report is approved by the post -researcher and is responsible for the design and approval of the workgroup for one year (with the payment of a second year).

This support is equivalent to the rights of a professor of basic professorship of a Tehran University for one year, which is set at 2 million tomans in year 2.

Note: In the case of projects that have laboratory work or field study or computational services, up to 5 % of the cost of convertible to the analytical fee, this figure includes the cost of human resources for the main researcher and faculty colleagues. Provided that the monthly analysis of the main researcher does not exceed 5 % of the basic assistant assistant, basic assistant, and basic professor, depending on the order of the main researcher.

In the case of theoretical research (laboratory work, computational services or field work), the support ceiling will be equivalent to 5 % of the amount contained in the table.
