NASA has recently released stunning ultraviolet photos of Mars captured by the Maon probe. In these pictures, the change of season of this planet is depicted.
According to Tekna technology and technology news service, Maven probe has been able to record two images of this planet at two different times. In the first picture, which is related to the southern hemisphere of the planet, the summer season can be seen. At this time, the planet was at its closest distance to the Sun. In this image, the ozone of the Martian atmosphere is shown in purple color. The NASA probe is capable of measuring wavelengths between 100 and 340 nm with the help of an ultraviolet spectrograph imaging device. The white areas in the image show clouds and fog in the Martian sky.
NASA has said in its statement about this: By observing Mars in the ultraviolet wavelength, scientists will provide detailed information about its atmosphere and examine its characteristics.
Another photo taken in June shows the deepest crater on Mars during two orbits of the planet. Also, in these pictures, the seasons are changing on this planet. The other image is from January and was taken when it passed the farthest point of this planet’s orbit around the Sun and from the Northern Hemisphere.
In this image, the presence of white clouds in the North Pole section, as well as its masses in the upper part, can be seen in magenta color.
