According to the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation, the first young scientist to be held in September 2008 is based on the endowment of Mustafa’s Omid Farrokhzad.
Dr. Omid Farrokhzad says of the experience of receiving the Mustafa Award, his motivation to participate in the establishment of a young scientist and his message to young scientists.
Farrokhzad received the Mustafa Prize in Biological and Medical Science and Technology for “design, development and clinical evaluation of new drugs based on polymer nanoparticles”. He believes that they are colored in the science of borders. He believes that the scientific partnership of Muslims, which make up a quarter of the world’s population, can be significantly beneficial and effective.
“I am very proud that I was selected as one of Mustafa’s winners in year 6,” the prominent international scientist in the field of nanotechnology said. In my opinion, this award shows that collaboration in science and medicine to improve the world must cross the borders. “Hopes that the services that I will have provided so far and will continue in the future can help improve humanity.”
Farrokhzad was born in an Iranian family in Tehran. He remembers that education in his family was of great importance, and especially his father loved reading the book and created this habit in his children.
He also added: “As an Iranian, I am proud of what happens in Iran. Also, as a Muslim, I am very proud of what is happening in the Muslim community. Our approach to science has always been doing something that is useful to everyone. “This award encourages us to continue our scientific activity so that we can present valuable and valuable results to the scientific community and in general to the community.”
The formation of a young scientist at Mustafa Foundation
The young scientist’s award for the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation was formed, and Omid Farrokhzad, a pioneer scientist who dedicated his cash amount to his work on “Design, Development and Clinical Evaluation of Modern Drugs Based on Polymer Nanoparticles” in the Award of Mustafa. The award is to be awarded every two years to innovative works on the boundaries of science and technology provided by young scientists and help improve human life.
Farrokhzad says I was able to play an effective role in promoting this new scientific prize, founded by the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation. The reason for my companionship was that we had common views on the benefits of this award for the scientific community.
“Today we appreciate athletes, artists and stars of cinema,” he said. In my opinion, it is also important to celebrate scientists and teachers. These are the people who have found the basis of the world to be better for all of us. “In my opinion, the establishment of the Mustafa Award reflects the extraordinary foresight of the foundation because recognizing a scientist for his achievements has a great impact on inspiring others to pursue similar paths.”
“The future of the world is in the hands of the next generation – those who are young today,” Farrokhzad said of the need to establish a young scientist. In my opinion, the establishment of a young scientist prize will be very important to celebrate the people who are superstar today. These people may have great achievements in the future that lead to a change in medicine or a new insight into biology. Therefore, identifying them at the outset may change their speed and make them more inspired. Then this may inspire the younger generation before them, a generation that wishes to do so.
“In my opinion, the use of the currency value granted to me in the Waqf that could support the young scientist and hold it biennial alongside the Mustafa Prize and to give it to those who are early in their career will be far more impact and impact,” Farrokhzad continued. I appreciate the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation for establishing a young scientist and I am very eager to see who the arbitration group will choose for this prize next year. I hope I have the opportunity to be there and celebrate with the young scientists. “It is very valuable to me.”
Farrokhzad also pointed to the years of the work of the team that led to Mustafa’s (PBUH) prize and how it can be attributed to the young scientist’s prize: “I am very proud of the symbolic concept of Mustafa’s prize that I was awarded to me. This prize is a symbol of recognizing our work and its impact. Although I received it as the award, it was actually created by a large number of postmodern students and researchers who came to our laboratories and went to clay building, which eventually led to the emergence of a glory.
“So, I think the prize really belongs to all those students and scholars, and in some ways use its monetary value to accompany and support the establishment of a young scientist is equal to religion and inspires the next generation to continue their innovation and achievement,” he said. I hope the young scientist’s prize will only be the beginning of their appreciation and celebration, and with the greater consolidation of these people and their deeper and more scientific participation in the future, they will make much more manifestations in their professional life. “
“The point was that we had to choose a scientist who is almost at the beginning of his career,” Farrokhzad said, referring to his association with the organizers. That person must be a distinguished and distinguished person among his counterparts, given his participation in scientific projects. Many people call them superstars. “These are the people who today differ significantly in terms of thinking, innovation and participation they do, and if you follow their career for up to ten or twenty years later, they are likely to be very tangible on the international scale.”
“I and the organizers of this award were in this regard,” he continued. “Participating in the development of this idea is perhaps one of the highest honors I have received and I look forward to seeing what the result is.”
Farrokhzad recalls that at the beginning of his career he received the recommendation from one of his professors: “Try to solve big problems.” Now that he is one of the leading leaders in his field of expertise, he says: “The advice I make is the same recommendation that Professor Robert Anchor gave me early in a laboratory in Piethrim in ATT. My master’s advice was to try to solve big problems. Spend your time and resources to solve big problems because the result of solving a big problem is very enjoyable and its impact is great. “In general, the same amount of time and resources is needed to solve large problems.”
His advice to young scientists and students is: “Identify the challenges and think in large dimensions. Science is always two steps forward and one step back. Don’t let the negative – whether it is in your own job or the negative comments you receive from others – will discourage you. Whenever you want to do something outside the norm, there will be many critics who may tell you that your ideas are not good or practiced. In my opinion, you have to believe and persevere, and you have to plow them all with an incredible force and move forward. Also, science is a group sport, not a solo sport so use, learn and help your colleagues. “You are likely to use the experiences of someone who has been there before, and after you have done your innovations and discoveries, someone uses your experiences.”
“My recommendations are to enjoy and enjoy the journey, as this is a very long way. “Follow your interest in perseverance, work with your group members, and look for big problems.”
Mustafa’s two -prize financing
The prize of young scientists was established by the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation to appreciate the young scholars of the Islamic world and to celebrate their influential achievements as a symbol of scientific excellence for the young elite generation. The young scientist prize has so far been financed through the scientific endowment of two of the winners of the Mustafa Award for Mustafa Farrokhzad in year 2 and Ogorshahin, and the other award has been financed in the year. The two scientists had earlier awarded their prize in cash to promote this new award in the form of scientific endowment. The first award of the young scientist will be held in September with the sixth “Week of Mustafa Award”.
