The test of space connection of Indian satellites, which was supposed to be done today, January 7th, has been postponed, and these satellites will display their history-making connection on January 9th.
According to RCO News Agency, India has delayed its first attempt to connect two satellites in orbit to allow more time for tests as the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) prepares to test technologies critical to its future space ambitions.
According to Spacey, A Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) rocket lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) in Sriharikota at 11:30 am ET on December 30 and launched the satellites.
After successfully launching two small satellites, the Indian Space Research Organization’s SpaDeX (SpaDeX) was expected to connect them in low-Earth orbit on January 7. This will mark the Indian Space Research Organization’s first test of an indigenous automated space docking system.
Officials of the Indian Space Research Organization wrote on the platform: The space docking test, which was scheduled for January 7, has now been postponed to January 9. The docking process needs further evaluation through ground simulations.
The Space Coupling Test mission is designed to investigate the technologies required for automated docking and deployment for use in future missions to the Moon and near-Earth space by robotic spacecraft and manned missions.
