He added: In a meeting attended by the head of the National Elite Foundation, the mission and goals of this meeting were determined and it was decided to address one of the main challenges in the field of research, i.e. its applicability. This meeting was designed with the aim of implementing one of the clauses of the country’s strategic document on elite affairs, that is, networking of elite individuals and groups.
Hossein Mardi clarified: The meeting consisted of two main parts; The first part is the lectures of successful researchers who have overcome the challenges of the effective research path, and the second part is the holding of specialized working groups in the four fields of medical sciences, technical engineering, humanities and basic sciences.
He pointed out that specialized working groups were organized under the management of prominent elites of the country who have successful experience in research impact, so that their experiences and knowledge can be transferred to young researchers.
Pointing to the importance of the impact of research in all fields, Hossein Mardi said: Although the impact of technical engineering research is more tangible in the industry, the capacities of humanities and basic sciences should not be neglected. The influence of humanities may not be visible in an objective way, but it is very prominent in the society.
The vice president of elites and elites of the National Elite Foundation stated that the purpose of this meeting was for young researchers to be more active in the fields of humanities and basic sciences in addition to technical engineering and medical sciences and to benefit from the experiences of veterans.
