“Science Night” is an event designed and implemented by scientists and science promoters to make the public interested in science. This event helps to develop and spread science, strengthen public awareness by simplifying science, teaching science with attractive methods and spreading scientific insight and establishing communication between science and society. Science Night provides opportunities for participants to interact directly with scientists, experts, engineers and artists.
At the event, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in real experiments, talk to researchers about their work, and gain a more detailed insight into scientific processes. Shab Alam presents various scientific programs, live research, on-site staff communication, exhibitions and various sections to the attendees on subjects outside the curriculum. It can also connect children, teenagers and young people with science and play an important role in creating their scientific attitude and understanding. This event provides wonderful spaces for families to interact with each other; A space for inspiring, memorable and shared learning experiences that promote discussion and dialogue between different groups and generations.
Holding such an event, in addition to the mentioned goals, provides the community with the scientific capabilities and capabilities of universities and scientific centers, and is a great opportunity to interest the general public in science and the scientific community. In this regard, based on the attached guidelines, the National Science Foundation of Iran supports the organization of science night programs in universities and scientific-research centers of the country with the aim of promoting science and spreading scientific thinking in different layers of society and expanding systematic communication between science and society.
It should be noted that the prerequisite for supporting this event is that it is innovative compared to previous events.
