The head of the National Elite Foundation and the vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy in a message of the president expressed his condolences to his dear family and the country’s scientific community on the death of Professor Farzaneh and the enduring face of Iranian mathematics, Dr. Ebadollah Mahmoudian.

With extreme sadness and grief, the news of the death of the outstanding professor and lasting figure of Iran’s mathematics, Dr. Ebadullah Mahmoudian, left the soul and heart of the country’s scientific community in mourning.
Dr. Mahmoudian, an incomparable sage and a wise teacher, spent his life improving the knowledge and education of educated generations. With his genius and tireless efforts, he not only expanded the boundaries of mathematical knowledge, but also left a rare example of commitment and humanity to his students and colleagues.
I, for this great tragedy, offer my condolences to his respected family, dear students and the scientific community of the country, I pray to the Almighty God for eternal peace for the late Saeed and for the survivors patience and strength.
