We are happy to congratulate all the researchers, those interested in the field of research, professors and students, as well as our research colleagues in the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, on the arrival of “Research Day” and “Research and Technology Week”.

Undoubtedly, balanced and sustainable development in the field of health goes through the path of scientific-research development, and moving in the frontiers of knowledge is not possible without the development of research fields; This is the place where community health, as the most important quality of life indicator, is linked with health research (medical sciences and health sciences).

Ranking 14th in the world and first in the region in science production are the goals defined in the “Seventh Progress Program” for the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education; To achieve these goals, we need to renovate, rebuild and equip research infrastructures; Also, education and training of professional researchers, providing researchers, students and professors access to the latest research resources, researchers’ free access to data and information, supporting research projects and developing research grants, providing the possibility of attracting research faculty in universities and research centers. improving the quality of scientific-research publications and supporting them, indexing, supporting science and technology parks, growth and technology centers and their development, creating and strengthening research hubs in universities and medical and health research centers; It is in this direction that, while training researchers, a suitable environment is provided for elitism and attracting elites in the field of research.

“Science” and “research” are global categories and without the development of international scientific-research interactions, we cannot expect the prosperity of research and technology. Removing obstacles to the development and expansion of research and academic cooperation at the transnational level is one of the most important programs of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education. Also, if we place the basis of development in the field of “problem-oriented” research, we are in dire need of entering the field of “interdisciplinary” and “interdisciplinary” research in medical and health sciences.
