According to RCO News Agency and quoted by the Communication and Information Center of the Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Hossein Afshin’s message states: “A student is a symbol of hope, awareness and transformation; A group that has long been at the forefront of progress and seeking justice in Iranian society, and undoubtedly has an irreplaceable contribution to the scientific, cultural and social development of the society; In the important moments of contemporary history, the university and students have been not only the center of knowledge but also the bastion of transformation and pioneering. This fact proves that “student” has a deeper meaning than being a seeker of knowledge. In the safe and dynamic context of the university, away from the noise and superficial controversies, the student explores the depth of issues, scrutinizes and learns the way and method of thinking. He learns the art of analyzing and valuing thoughts so that he can think correctly, clearly and accurately, get to the depth of issues and problems, and analyze issues with a realistic and impartial insight.
