The deadline for calling for a comprehensive program of systematic research in inflation and subsequently uploading the letter of interest in the Kuiper system was extended by the National Science Foundation of Iran until December 27, 1403.
According to RCO News Agency, High inflation has destructive effects on the economy. This phenomenon increases uncertainty and unpredictability in the economy, reduces the purchasing power of citizens and increases speculation activities, and in turn, by disrupting the allocation of resources, reduces the motivation of economic agents to invest. On the other hand, in addition to economic effects, high inflation can also cause harmful social effects such as increasing inequality and class gap.
Although inflation has always been one of the topics studied in economics, it still has many unknown dimensions, especially in developing countries. An integrated approach to this issue, with an emphasis on the participation of stakeholders and in a systemic approach (framework), seems very promising. Therefore, the inclusion of diverse expertise for problem solving, planning and collaborative decision-making is emphasized. Therefore, conducting basic research in this field with a systemic approach in order to accurately understand the structure of inflation in the country and provide policy proposals to control it is a priority.
