According to Mehr reporter, Dr. Kazemi’s sixth prize was awarded to “Thomas Brown”, a prominent researcher in the field of stem cells and one of the main researchers of the Max Planck Heart and Lung Research Institute in Germany.
Brown studies the molecular mechanisms of cardiac and skeletal muscle development, stem cells and contractile tissue regeneration, as well as aging and adaptation of the cardiovascular system.
Kazemi Award has been awarded to 5 researchers from America, Germany, Holland, and Italy.
The sixth edition of the Kazemi Award was supposed to be jointly awarded to “Thomas Braun” from Germany and “Nicolas Riveron” from Austria.
