NASA has now received the necessary permits to study the rocks brought back from the Moon by a Chinese spacecraft.
According to Tekna technology and technology news service, China and America are currently in a new competition in the field of moon exploration. These two countries will work to achieve the common goal of landing a man on the moon and building a base on it. On the other hand, a correct understanding of the moon's environment is very important for a long-term presence.
Therefore, the American government has now given permission to NASA to carry out the necessary studies on the moon samples that were returned to the earth by the Chinese Chang'e-5 spacecraft. This is the first time that the space agencies of the two countries, the United States and China, are coming together to achieve a common goal, and they are removing the previous restrictions on joint cooperation.
One of these restrictions is related to the WOLF amendment, which was passed by the US Congress in 2011. During this law, restrictions were created for space cooperation between these two countries. Of course, the approval received by NASA is a rare case that will only be applicable to samples of the Chang'e China mission.
Currently, NASA plans to carefully visit these samples and evaluate them. Because these samples belong to a place that has never been visited by NASA before.
