NASA is not able to open the container of valuable materials of asteroid Bennu

After receiving the sample inside the container related to the valuable materials of asteroid Bek, NASA announced that it is now not possible to open this container safely.

According to Tekna technology and technology news service, after careful planning, NASA was able to receive the capsule related to Bennu asteroid pieces. Scientists believe that this asteroid, due to its placement in the early days of the solar system, can provide important clues about the universe after it evolved and became its current form.

The capsule containing the asteroid fragments was collected by NASA’s Osiris Rex spacecraft. When this spacecraft landed on the surface of Bennu, it was able to collect the materials of this space stone using its arms. According to the announcement of the Esris Rex spacecraft team, the amount of material collected from Bennu was more than scientists imagined. According to the team responsible for examining the samples, about 70.3 grams of the material of this asteroid has been removed from the intended capsule. This is despite the fact that the said amount belonged only to the head of the collected sampler and the main compartment has not been opened yet.

Of course, the main problem is the complete sealing of this chamber. According to the researchers, this chamber should be opened and studied in the best possible way in order to minimize ground pollution. They plan to extract the materials inside the chamber in a clean and sealed environment with an active flow of nitrogen and with the help of gloves attached to it.
