Scientists have discovered a valuable and rare element in a type of mineral in China, which can be used in batteries in the future due to its superconductivity.
According to Tekna’s technology and technology news service, the mineral Ni Babeotite in China contains the rare element niobium. According to published reports, this rare element can act as a superconductor and for this reason it is very important. The said mineral contains niobium, barium, titanium, iron and chloride. Of course, the niobium element in it is considered a valuable element that has made it very exciting. Currently, this metal element is used in steel production so that it can increase the strength of steel. This element is also used mixed with some other alloys.
According to the report of China National Nuclear Corporation, the stone in question was detected in October in the Banyan Obo deposit mine in Mongolia. Antonio Castronto, a professor of electrical and computer engineering from Singapore, announced in his press release in this regard: The volume and quality of the identified nubium element can lead to China’s transformation and self-sufficiency. Currently, the largest supplier of this metal element in the world is Brazil. Canada is also the second supplier of this element in the world.
