New research conducted by the European Environment Agency shows that almost all Europeans have a chemical called bisphenol in their bodies, which is related to plastic bottles.
According to Tekna’s technology and technology news service, a new research was recently conducted by the European Environment Agency under the European Union, which indicates the existence of a chemical substance in the body of 90% of Europeans. This material is used in making plastic bottles and can cause hormonal disorders in the body.
In its new research, by measuring this chemical substance in the body of European people, this agency announced that this substance was detected in 92% of the urine of adult participants from 11 European countries. About 2756 participants from 11 European countries such as Croatia, Poland, Switzerland, Germany and France were present in this research. Also, the amount of bisphenol A, S and F in the urine of these people was measured between 2014 and 2020.
Finally, the scientists announced that the amount of this chemical in the body of the Swiss participants was at the lowest level, and all the French, Luxembourg and Portuguese participants also had this substance in their bodies. In the conclusion of this report, it was announced that the updated research data measured the amount of chemicals in the body of participants with the amount of safety levels and announced that these amounts were consistent with each other. This chemical was used in the manufacture of milk bottles and its use has been banned in the United States and other countries since a decade ago. Of course, this material is still used in the production of plastic packaging for food and even drinks.
