On August 25, the Canadian province of Ontario held its second admission through the Masters Graduate immigration program.
The EOI score of selected applicants should be at least 37, which indicates a slight decrease compared to the first admission. Applicants now have 14 days to submit their application and pay the application fee of $1,500.
The Ontario Provincial Immigration Program launched the EOI recruitment system for Masters Graduate applicants earlier this month. International students who have graduated from an accredited university or higher education institution can now apply for immigration through the Ontario Provincial Immigration Program at any time.
The Masters Graduate immigration route, as the name suggests, is a route for foreign students who have studied and graduated in Ontario.
This pathway provides the opportunity for these graduates to apply for selection by the province of Ontario and then permanent residence in Canada. This immigration route is very popular among applicants because it does not require a job offer from an Ontario employer.
You do not need to have a job offer to immigrate to Ontario through this route, but you must apply within two years of your graduation to be selected. Graduates of the following universities are eligible for this immigration program:
Algoma University
Brescia University College (Affiliated with the University of Western Ontario)
Brock University
Carleton University

Ontario scoring criteria for immigration applicants
The province of Ontario ranks EOI profiles based on responses. Based on factors such as the skill level of the job for which you have received a job offer and your work experience in Canada, you will be awarded a point. Ontario uses the National System of Occupational Classification, or NOC, for education. The scoring system of the Ontario Provincial Immigration Program varies depending on the immigration route you are applying for. Apart from job skill level and work experience, points are also given to salary, education, language skills and the region where you work or study. The province of Ontario gives up to 10 points to the applicant to meet the needs of the labor market.
