Who are eligible for these two paths?
The way to attract talents in agriculture jobs (Agriculture Talent Stream)
Potential applicants for this route must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Having a language score equivalent to CLB at least 4; Of course, some employers may require scores higher than 4.
- Having a high school diploma or university education.
- Having at least one year of full-time work experience in the last three years (in your desired field); or six months (equivalent to 780 hours) of full-time work experience (more than 30 hours per week) in a job position where the employer is going to hire the applicant with a job approval letter. In both cases, work experience does not have to be continuous.
- Confirmation of the applicant’s intention to work and live in the province of Saskatchewan.
- Having a permanent full-time job offer in agriculture in Saskatchewan.
Applicants must have a valid SINP employment confirmation letter to prove their employment and can obtain this letter from their employer. To receive this letter, employers must register the applicant’s details in SINP.
The way to attract talents in healthcare jobs (Health Talent Stream)
The requirements for entering this pathway differ depending on whether the applicant is applying to the federal Express Entry pool or not. Some conditions are similar in both subcategories, which are listed below:
- Having the condition to obtain a valid Saskatchewan certificate (if the applicant’s job requires a certificate).
- Having a university education relevant to the job for which the individual received the offer (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree; or a three-year college or university degree; or a two-year diploma received from a university, college, technical and vocational school or academic school).
- Confirmation of the applicant’s intention to work and live in the province of Saskatchewan.
Applicants who meet the requirements for Express Entry do not have They must also have a CLB score of at least 5 in English or French; Some employers may look for applicants with a CLB score above 5.
This category of applicants must also have the following conditions regarding their work experience:
- If the individual is applying in the province of Saskatchewan: must be currently employed in the province and have six months (780 hours) of full-time work experience (more than 30 hours per week) in the occupation in which the employer provided the applicant with a letter of approval given a job
- In any case, it is not necessary to have a continuous work history.
- If the applicant has not worked full-time for at least six months for their intended employer, they must have at least one year of work experience in their intended job within the last five years.
Applicants who file in the Express Entry pool haveshould:
- Have Express Entry file number and Job Seeker Code.
- If the applicant is applying from inside or outside of Canada, they must have one year of highly skilled work experience in their desired occupation within the last five years.
