In these years, the immigration of Iranian women has increased, so that in 2021, more than 52% of the permanent residence permits issued to Iranians in Canada are related to women, and this figure was 49% for Australia and 45% for Finland.

According to Dunyai Ekhtaz newspaper, the director of the Iranian Migration Observatory, Bahram Salvati, said that based on a research titled “Analysis of Women's Lived Experience of Migration”, most of the women who immigrated from Iran to Canada are educated and have at least a master's degree.

Some time ago, Salavati announced: “Whenever the economic and social conditions improve, we see a decrease in the departure of Iranians from the country, and on the contrary, when the economic pressures increase, we see that the migration is on the rise.”
