Immigration and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 4,750 applicants in the latest Express Entry lottery.
Applicants needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 561 to be selected in this round of the lottery. This is the first lottery since October 26. On November 14, the Immigration Department announced in a post on X social media that some applicants in Using the Express Entry profile builder (Express Entry Profile Builder) is facing problems and cannot send their request.
On November 16, the ministry announced that the problem had been resolved. It is not clear whether this was the reason for the increase in the length of time between the draws. In the last draw, 3,600 applicants received invitations to apply in a selective draw based on job category for health care jobs on October 26. The round required a minimum score of 431. Two more draws were held in the same week. On October 25, the Immigration Department issued invitations to 300 applicants in a category-based lottery for those with French language skills who needed a minimum score of 486 to be selected in that lottery. Another lottery was held on October 24. Immigration issued invitations to 1,548 applicants in a lottery for Provincial Applicants (PNP) applicants only. Applicants need a minimum score of 776.
