Publication of the 2022 report of Canada‘s Express Entry program by IRCC
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) publishes an annual report on the Express Entry system every year, the 2022 version being the latest.
The Express Entry System is the name used by the Canadian federal government to attract skilled foreign workers to the country to apply for permanent residence (PR).
Launched in 2015, the Express Entry system consists of three different main programs: the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSTP).
It should be noted that this system also administers a portion of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), although PNP candidates must also be eligible for at least one of the three aforementioned programs to come to Canada through Express Entry.
Note: All data in this article was collected from January to December 2022.
