One of the characteristics of Canada‘s immigration policy is that it provides a path for people who decide to immigrate to Canada, which leads them to obtain citizenship of this country.

Obtaining Canadian citizenship for people who change their life path all at once and suddenly, is considered an achievement that is accompanied by peace of mind, and in a way, it is considered the result of effort and spending a lot of energy, time and money on this path.

As we mentioned, Immigration Canada changed its name in 2015 to reflect its increased focus on asylum in Canada. But there was no change in the citizenship department to remain an important part of the Canadian immigration department.
