On September 8, 2023, the Immigration Department officially updated the list of technical occupations eligible for Express Entry Certificates of Qualification. Now, the list has a total of 101 jobs.

• The remarkable thing about this is that No previous work experience is required in any of these occupations and the applicant only needs to obtain a certificate of qualification for one of these 101 occupations.
• Having a qualification certificate Adds up to 50 points in the Comprehensive Scoring System (CRS) to one’s score. A job offer from a Canadian employer is not required to receive this additional bonus.

Therefore, if you are inside Canada and have registered an Express Entry profile or are planning to create one, we suggest getting this certificate in technical jobs.

After you become proficient in one of these technical occupations, you can take a Canadian provincial credentialing exam.
