Spring/Summer 2025 Collina Strada
Colina Estrada is one of the brands that takes the word “show” seriously and uses all its possibilities! In fact, when you watch Estrada, you don’t just see the clothes, you watch a show. The spring/summer 2025 collection of this brand was called “Touch Grass”. The term is used in cyberspace to encourage always-online people to get out of the house and connect with the real world. In this regard, this year, the creative director of this brand, Hillary Taymour, decided to hold the show in the grass of a cemetery in New York.
Hilary Taymor said that she wanted the mood of this show to be heavenly and magical. In fact, even men’s clothes had a lot of elegance and femininity. In general, such a mood has gained significant popularity in the last two years. This feeling is in harmony with the stability of the Colina Estrada brand.
In the fall 2023 collection, this brand made the models look like animals with make-up, and last year its vegetable dumbbells went viral; But this year, Taimur said he would like to appear a little more mature while being playful and cheerful. He showed this sense of playfulness with the presence of an acrobat model and a lawnmower and models’ dirt knees on the runway, but there was no news of the strange makeup of the previous collections. While the clothes had details of formal wear, they were generally considered avant-garde and daring everyday wear.
Apart from being active in the field of sustainable fashion, Estrada is also known for having different models. This time, a model in a wheelchair, an acrobat, and a lady in green from Brooklyn walked the runway with a bag in the shape of a lizard; Of course, some also suspended!

Naomi Campbell and Christy also walked the catwalk for this show.
Ralph Lauren presented a collection of more than 100 looks from all its lines – from the Spring 2025 collection to the Purple Label line and the Polo Ralph Lauren lines for men, women and children – in a beautiful fashion show overlooking the Khalily Stables in Bridgehampton. showed In this fashion show, models appeared on the runway individually, as a couple, and as a family, wearing clothes designed by Lauren with over 5 decades of experience. It should be noted that Ralph launched his first complete men’s collection in 1968 and his women’s line in 1971; So this show meant that the Ralph Lauren brand could be a separate lifestyle.
According to Lauren, she has a deep and personal connection to Hampton Island; Because he spent a lot of time there with his family. By choosing this location, he wanted to take the guests to his world: “Hampton is more than a place for me. It has a pristine nature with endless blue skies, ocean, green plains and white fences. Where simplicity and elegance are next to the quality of sunlight, the same thing that drew artists here decades ago. This place is my home, my refuge and has always been a source of inspiration for me.”
In order to immerse the guests in his world even more, Lauren brought his famous restaurant brand Polo Bar to the Hamptons for one night! Since there is no Polo Bar in the Hamptons, the brand recreated a new version of its restaurant there; Just like the bar in New York, but twice as big and for one night only! The interesting thing was that in this temporary polo bar, you could see anyone from any walk of life and profession: from Jill Biden to Usher and Tom Hiddleston!
In 1989, Ralph Lauren opened his first Polo Country store in East Hampton, at 31-33 Main Street, and today there are four Ralph Lauren stores in the Hamptons. The fashion style of Hampton people mostly includes linen fabrics and white color, which is exactly the same color and gender that represents Ralph Lauren. However, this was the first time Ralph exhibited his collections in the Hamptons alongside Khalili’s stables.

Parisian alaias in New York
This time Alaia held the Spring/Winter 2025 show not at her home in Paris, but on the first day of New York Fashion Week.
As if you were invited to a ritual ceremony, the models performed a memorable show with clothes wrapped around the body, with a circular movement in the spiral path of a modern architectural masterpiece.
Alaia’s La Robe Spirale fall 2024 was one of Mollie’s most creative creations, which Zendaya also wore at one of the events of the Dune movie. According to Peter Mollier, the Guggenheim called him after the show and congratulated him. This event was a great excuse to hold the New York Alaya show at the Guggenheim Museum, by Frank Lloyd Wright.
Peter Mollier, the creative director of Alaya, designed this collection with a look at American sportswear; It means comfortable items, attract and pull or hang and release. The remarkable thing about these clothes was the non-use of fasteners such as buttons and zippers.
The innovative structure of Alaia’s clothes are more like sculpture than clothing design; For example, the palazzo pants worn by Kendall Jenner at the beginning of the show seem delicate at first glance; But its geometric and complex structure fascinates the audience.
Shirts with a completely open cut in front of the body or tops that are softly wrapped around the body, show Mollie’s power in playing with the viewer’s eye and brain, and of course, her detailed knowledge of design and sewing. The spiral design was seen in most of the clothes, from the pleats of the skirt and the form of the shirt to the cut of the jackets.
Absorption bodices similar to workout clothes, denim and see-through underwear could be Mouliere’s nods to American fashion.
America‘s choice to hold the show in the first stage was a tribute to Ezzedine Alaia’s show forty-two years ago, which was held at Bergdorf Goodman in New York on this day. Also, Peter Mollier himself worked at Calvin Klein in New York for about three years. But another reason for choosing America is marketing and retail issues. The US market is currently Alaia’s largest sales market. The brand has plans to expand its retail sales, relying on high-profile collections and items such as Mary Jane’s studded and mesh flats.
Celebrities – especially Americans – have always played a prominent role in the luxury fashion market, and Alaia was no exception. Rihanna’s arrival on the show was, like many times, late but brilliant. She wore a trench coat inspired by Naomi Campbell’s ’90s Alaya dress. Naomi and Linda Evangelista, Ezzedine Alaia’s muses and supermodels, and of course Anna Wintour were in the front row of the show.
Aside from the special guests, the museum’s first floor was dedicated to costume design students, which Mollie said was “a very democratic thing that I think is very New York.”
