History of Vietnam
In 1802, Mr. Nguyen united those parts of North, Central, and South Vietnam with the cities of Tonkin, Annam, and Kush-Shin and established the Empire of Vietnam. But in the 1860s, the French intervened and took control of the land in 1883, and in 1887 formed the Indochinese Union, which included Cambodia and Laos.
Anti-colonial rebellions began in the 1930s, which led to war and occupation for the Vietnamese and harmed them for up to 40 years. Then the occupation of Vietnam by Japan in 1940 led to the formation of a government under the rule of the Baodai Empire. In 1941, the communist leader of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, organized the Viet Minh into a Chirik army to fight the Japanese. After the end of the American war, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was established in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh was elected as its leader.
In 1946, France introduced Vietnam as a free country and recognized it. Ho Chi Minh left Hanoi to fight the colonialists and Oda, who had returned to the throne. As prime minister, Viet Minh occupied all of Tonkin during successive years and finally brought the French to their knees by winning after a 55-day siege at Dinh Binh Phu.
In July 1954, the Geneva Peace Accords divided Vietnam into the Communist Zone (North) and the Ngo Dinh Diem Zone (South). In 1956, the North refused to participate in the elections and Bao Dinh was created and Ngo Dinh Diem declared a separate republic in South Vietnam. In 1961, US President Kennedy sent his military advisors to help suppress the religiously oppressive regime (Communist guerrillas in South Vietnam). The United States also began regular aerial bombing in 1964, and a large number of American forces were involved in the war and insurgency in Vietnam. Peace talks began in 1969, but the following year the United States was still fighting the Viet Cong in Cambodia and Laos. Finally, in 1993, this war officially ended. Today, Vietnam is peaceful and has a reputation as a safe and scenic country with great tourist attractions.

The Vietnam War
The Vietnam War (1975-1955) was a short and intense war between the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam) and the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam). This war was held because of the conflict between two powers and the effort to fully unify the country of Vietnam. The alliance of American and other Western countries was on the war front and is carrying out the fight through the financial and military support of the Republic of Vietnam. The bulk of the war was fought between the United States and Vietnam, but it also involved thousands of troops from the Republic of South Africa, Australia, and other parts of the British Empire.
The Vietnam War was one of the most violent and painful wars of the 20th century, and it launched anti-war protests and movements in America and other western countries, and it also caused a decrease in international trust in the western countries and the occurrence of paramilitary movements in these countries.
The results of the Vietnam War ended with the defeat of America and its allied countries, and according to some historians, it was the beginning of the era of post-imperialism in the foreign policy of the United States. Finally, in 1975, the name of the Republic of Vietnam was changed to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the country of Vietnam was under Soviet influence and its economy suffered. Also, the Vietnam War resulted in the death of about 2 million people and great destruction in the physical and geological structures of Vietnam.
