Demonstration of UAE mercenaries in Yemen against Saudi Arabia – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by Sputnik, separatists in southern Yemen affiliated to the UAE held a demonstration in Aden on Friday in response to the closure of their headquarters.
At the same time as this demonstration was held, Aden witnessed the deployment of security forces on a large scale in the main streets, especially the residents of Hadramaut, Shabwah, Lahj, Abin and Dhale provinces also participated in this demonstration.
The participants in this demonstration emphasized that they are against the abandonment of the Transitional Council of South Yemen and that the self-proclaimed government of this country, supported by Saudi Arabia, is responsible for the consequences of closing the Council’s headquarters. They accused Saudi Arabia of arresting the delegation of the Southern Transitional Council in Riyadh and demanded the release of this delegation. Also, in this demonstration, it was emphasized to Saudi Arabia that the continuation of the aforementioned government’s actions without the consent of the separatists of South Yemen will lead to the escalation of tensions.
It should be noted that the southern regions of Yemen have long witnessed the escalation of armed conflicts between the mercenaries affiliated with the UAE and Saudi Arabia, so that with the continuation of the mercenaries of the UAE in these areas, Riyadh asked Abu Dhabi to end its military presence in Yemen.
