Jolani regime denied the attempt on the life of an intelligence officer – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to the Mehr News Agency, citing the official Syrian News Agency (SANA), a security source of the Julani regime reported on Saturday that a shooting occurred from inside a car in the center of Damascus.

The source confirmed that Syrian internal security forces immediately began chasing the vehicle and its occupants.

This source denied the published reports about the attempt to assassinate Brigadier General Abdul Rahman al-Dabagh from the officers of the Syrian Intelligence Organization in Damascus and emphasized that these reports are completely false.

The mentioned source explained that the relevant authorities immediately reacted to this incident and were sent to the area, surrounded the place and took the necessary measures to ensure public safety and restore order.

The said source stated that the reports about the conflict in the Al-Maliki neighborhood of Damascus are related to this chase, and noted that the investigation is ongoing to find out the dimensions of the incident and the identity of the people involved.
