Attack of Zionist forces on an area in Al Quneitra, Syria – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, citing Syria’s “Al-Akhbariya” channel, a military patrol belonging to the Zionist occupation attacked two children while grazing livestock and stole a sheep during an attack on the village of Boyeqah in the central outskirts of Quneitra.
Al-Akhbariya did not announce the result of Israel’s attack on these two children, and the Syrian authorities did not comment on it.
Violation of Syrian sovereignty by the Israeli regime has recently been repeated almost daily; Although Damascus has repeatedly emphasized its adherence to the separation of forces agreement that was concluded between the two sides in 1974.
Tel Aviv canceled this agreement after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime on December 8, 2023. These violations include land incursions and artillery shelling, especially in the outskirts of Quneitra and Daraa (south), arresting citizens and establishing checkpoints and interrogating passers-by, as well as destroying agricultural products.
These developments take place despite the announcement of the formation of a communication mechanism between Syria and Israel on January 6, under the supervision of the United States, to coordinate information exchange, reduce military tension, diplomatic partnership and business opportunities.
Syrians say the continued violation of their sovereignty by the Israeli regime limits their ability to restore stability and hinders the government’s efforts to attract investment and improve the economic situation.
