According to the Mehr news agency, citing Sputnik, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that the town of Krasnoznamenka in the Dnipropetrovsk region was liberated by the Russian armed forces.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia mentioned the downing of 95 Ukrainian drones over the country last night.

The statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia also mentioned the casualties of Ukrainian forces. The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that more than 2,480 Ukrainian soldiers were killed during the last week.

The Russian Defense Ministry also announced that it shot down 2,041 Ukrainian drones during the past week.

It should be noted that on February 21, 2022 (March 2, 1400), Russian President Vladimir Putin, criticizing the West’s indifference to Moscow’s security concerns, recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in the Donbas region.
