Tehran municipal museums became single rate

With the aim of organizing the tariff system of cultural centers and strengthening urban tourism, the Islamic Council of Tehran approved the bill to determine the price of services of museums, garden museums and museum houses under the ownership of Tehran municipality in 1405; The resolution based on which the service price of these centers was determined as a single rate.

Based on the provisions of this bill, the price tariff for visiting museums and cultural centers affiliated to the municipality has been revised and updated with a citizen-oriented approach and in accordance with the economic conditions of the country. In this framework, while determining new visit rates for Iranian and foreign nationals, facilities including special discounts and exemptions for some groups have been foreseen.

Setting up an integrated electronic ticket sales system, offering visiting credit cards, the possibility of group ticket sales and allocating part of the revenues to the marketing and development of cultural services are among the other important axes of this resolution.
