The occurrence of 546 earthquakes in Bahman 1404; Bushehr was the most earthquake-prone province – RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, citing University of Tehran, seismographic networks of the National Seismological Center of the Institute of Geophysics recorded 546 earthquakes in the country and neighboring areas in Bahman 1404.

In this month, 15 earthquakes with a magnitude greater than 4.0 were recorded in the country and border areas, the largest of which was the 12 Bahman earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 in the vicinity of Asaluye, Bushehr province.

Bushehr with 104 earthquakes, Yazd with 65 earthquakes and Kerman with 50 earthquakes were the most seismic provinces.

In Bahman 1404, 12 earthquakes were recorded in Tehran province, the largest earthquake with a magnitude of 2.3 was located near the campus.
