According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by Russia Elium, Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in response to the incident near the shores of Cuba, said: This action is considered a hostile move by the United States to make the situation tense.

A few hours ago, the Ministry of Interior of Cuba announced that a boat with the American flag entered Cuban territorial waters and opened fire.

According to the statement of the Ministry of the Interior of Cuba, the defense forces of this country reacted with reciprocal fire in response to this action, as a result of which four people on board the boat were killed.

In this statement, it is emphasized that this incident occurred after the violation of Cuban maritime sovereignty and shots were fired by the attacking boat.
