Taliban denied the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, “Zabihullah Mujahid”, the spokesperson of Afghanistan’s caretaker government, in an interview with TOLOnews, stated that Afghanistan is safe and no international terrorist group is present in this country, adding: Afghanistan’s geography is under a single sovereignty, and therefore outside groups are not able to carry out activities in it.
This Taliban government official asked Russia to understand the realities of Afghanistan and update its reports based on objective facts.
He said: Kabul has repeatedly emphasized that it will not allow the use of Afghan soil against any country.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced the presence of more than 20,000 armed forces affiliated with international terrorist groups in Afghanistan and claimed that half of these fighters are non-Afghan.
