According to Mehr news agency, citing Al-Arabiya, the airing of only two episodes of an Egyptian series at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan called “Sahab al-Arz” that depicts some of the aggressions of the Zionist regime against the Gaza Strip has provoked the anger of this regime.
According to this report, the Zionist Radio and Television Organization prepared a full report about this series and emphasized that the issue of the Gaza war was portrayed in ways that do not make Israel’s image look positive and is one-sided!
Channel 12 of the Zionist regime strongly criticized this series and reported that Egypt is looking to improve its image and this series is considered a mere political action.
Yediot Aharanot newspaper had also expressed concern about the content of the series before its broadcast. This newspaper wrote that the series may have a negative impact on public opinion, especially in the area of children in the Gaza Strip and the way the Zionist army treats them, and has millions of viewers.
This series is also translated into English. The Sahab Al-Arz series deals with the humanitarian crisis of the residents of the Gaza Strip after the attacks of the Zionist regime against this strip, with Ayad Nassar playing the role of a Palestinian father and Menah Shelbi playing the role of an Egyptian doctor.
