The statement of 14 Islamic and Arab countries condemning the statements of the American ambassador – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al Jazeera network, 14 Islamic and Arab countries issued a joint statement, strongly condemning the statements of the American ambassador to the occupied territories, Mike Huckabee, regarding the acceptance of this regime’s sovereignty over the Arab countries.
It is stated in this statement: We condemn the statements of the American ambassador, in which he refers to the acceptance of Tel Aviv’s sovereignty over the lands belonging to Arab countries, including the West Bank.
In the continuation of the statement, it is emphasized: these dangerous statements are a clear violation of international law and a serious threat to the security and stability of the region.
14 Islamic and Arab countries also announced: the statements of the American ambassador are contradictory to the point of view put forward by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and also to the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza.
In another part of this statement, it is stated: We emphasize once again that there is no sovereignty for Israel over the occupied territories of Palestine or any of the occupied territories of the Arab countries, and we are firmly against any attempt to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip.
Iraq: These statements are dangerous
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq also announced in a statement: Huckabee’s statements are a dangerous act that contradicts the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, and is an attack on the sovereignty of countries, their independence and territorial integrity.
Kuwait: We condemn irresponsible statements
In response to Huckabee’s statements, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: “It strongly condemns the irresponsible statements of the American ambassador to the Israeli occupation regarding the acceptance of the Zionist regime’s domination over the territory of Arab countries, including the occupied West Bank.”
This ministry emphasized: We reject any attempt to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip, and we oppose the continuation of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Hamas reaction
In this regard, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) also announced: the statements of the American ambassador in the occupied territories show the extent of America’s clear support for the hegemonic and annexationist projects of the Tel Aviv regime.
Hamas added: The American ambassador’s support for the geographical expansion of the Zionist regime and the occupation of Arab and Islamic countries is a direct threat to the national security of Islamic and Arab and Islamic countries.
Saudi Arabia: The US ambassador’s position is extreme
An hour ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia reacted to the controversial statements of the American ambassador regarding the right of the Zionist regime to control the West Bank and West Asia.
In a statement issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry, Riyadh condemns the statements of the US ambassador to Israel (Occupied Palestinian Territories) in which he recklessly stated that Israel’s control over the entire Middle East would be acceptable.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia continued in this regard: the statements of the American ambassador ignore the relations between the countries of the region and the United States. The extreme position of the American ambassador brings serious consequences and threatens global peace and security by intensifying hostility against the countries and people of the region.
It should be noted that the American ambassador to the occupied territories, in an interview with “Tucker Carlson”, a famous American presenter, made unprecedented remarks about the territory of the fake Zionist regime.
In this interview, when Huckabee was asked that “according to the teachings of the Torah, Israel has the right to dominate all the areas between the Nile and the Euphrates; A region that includes Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, parts of Iraq and Saudi Arabia,” he said in a short and controversial answer: “If they take all these regions, it will be a good thing.”
