According to RCO News Agency, Al-Sumriya reported: Meteorological forecasts in Iraq show that the country will be affected by a polar cold air front in late February, which will cause a sharp drop in temperature.

The arrival of this polar air front in Iraq at this time of the year, which people refer to as “Ajooz”, will turn the air of Iraq into winter again.

This cold front will first cause a noticeable decrease in air temperature in the northern and western cities of Iraq, and then it will extend to the middle regions and parts of southern Iraq. Iraqi people will feel the cold at night, especially in desert areas. Also, the temperature difference between day and night will increase significantly.

The arrival of this polar cold wave in some northern and western regions of Iraq will be accompanied by the possibility of scattered rain.
